Oh, blond Crusader,
When will you see Toronto again?
Who fought for freedom,
With pow'rs beyond our ken
You stood again' them,
Abusers and murder'rs,
And sent them jail-ward,
To think again.
Toronto's safe now,
That you have come to aid us all
Your sight and hearing,
Detects before the fall
Of one in danger,
You take the back way
And fly to their rescue
Still once again.
Your soul's in danger,
The one you say you don't retain
Yet many lives now
Have suffered from the pain
Of vampires' bloodlust,
And th'incessant hunger,
You drained and killed them
To live again.
Too long you search for
Illusive peace, mortality
Divine forgiveness
For years' insanity
Your guilt is heavy --
You feel unworthy
Of Heaven's respite,
And search again.
O blond Crusader,
A little faith is all you need --
Divine forgiveness
Is based in Word, not deed
Your kind protection
Of those in danger
Will gain your passage
To Grace again.
